Executive Director of Philanthropy

The Connor, Clark & Lunn Foundation is seeking an Executive Director to guide its strategic and operational initiatives. This pivotal leadership role focuses on enhancing governance practices, overseeing granting processes, and engaging internal and external partners. The Executive Director will report directly to the Board and will be instrumental in shaping the Foundation’s vision for charitable impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement the new governance framework approved by the Board

• Oversee operational activities and financial coordination

• Develop reporting frameworks for effective governance

• Support annual budget development and financial reporting

• Maintain compliance with legal and regulatory obligations

Requirements:

• Leadership experience in the nonprofit sector in Canada

• Strong knowledge of grantmaking practices and governance

• Exceptional communication and relationship management skills

• Proven ability to manage projects and implement process improvements

• Understanding of CRA compliance obligations
