- Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all deliverables meet quality standards and project timelines.
- Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, objectives, resources, and timelines, while effectively communicating these plans to stakeholders.
- Coordinate with various departments, including engineering, operations, and marketing, to align project goals with overall business objectives.
- Monitor project progress, identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies to address challenges proactively.
- Facilitate regular project meetings with team members and stakeholders to provide updates, gather feedback, and ensure alignment on project goals.
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior management, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
- Manage project budgets, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and that expenditures remain within approved limits.
- Foster a collaborative team environment by promoting open communication, encouraging innovative ideas, and recognizing team contributions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout the project lifecycle, maintaining a focus on safety and sustainability.
- Utilize project management software and tools to track progress, manage documentation, and streamline communication among team members.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and best practices for future projects, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring that client expectations are met and that any concerns are addressed promptly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the mining or technology sectors.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to completion, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, or similar tools) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management frameworks is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve project goals.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Experience working in a startup or fast-growing company environment.
- Knowledge of mining industry regulations and standards.
- Familiarity with data analytics tools and methodologies.
- Experience in stakeholder management and client relations.
- Project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
