In this pivotal position, the Director will oversee a multidisciplinary team while managing critical functions such as budget oversight and operational guidance in economic development. With at least 10 years of relevant management experience, candidates will engage in land use planning, multi-level governmental collaboration, and high-stakes negotiations to promote business expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic leadership across multidisciplinary teams
• Serve as senior strategist for economic growth and revitalization
• Promote Moose Jaw to investors and lead negotiations
• Oversee land use planning and compliance with provincial laws
• Collaborate to secure funding aligned with priorities
Requirements:
• Degree in relevant field, Master's preferred
• 10 years of progressive municipal management experience
• Class 5 Driver's License and personal vehicle
• Knowledge of planning and development processes
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills
