Position: Facilities Operations Manager at UBC
Lead the operational management of academic facilities as a Facilities Operations Manager at UBC's Faculty of Medicine. Ensure strategic oversight for diverse learning spaces across multiple campuses.

In this role, you will provide essential support for over 300 academic learning spaces, collaborating with faculty, health authorities, and key stakeholders. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring that educational infrastructure meets the needs of research and learning programs. With a focus on safety and efficiency, you will enhance the functionality of both university and clinical facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations for VC and non-VC academic learning spaces

• Ensure maintenance and repair processes meet quality standards

• Work closely with health authorities for facility security

• Manage contractors for maintenance and building services

• Coordinate user training for new academic spaces

Requirements:

• Proven facilities management experience

• Excellent project management and organizational skills

• Understanding of safety and compliance regulations

• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborative work

• Experience in educational settings preferred
