The Dean is responsible for establishing strategic objectives and operational plans within BCIT’s School of Transportation. With direct oversight involving program development and resource allocation, you will enhance educational offerings and ensure high-quality delivery. This leadership position demands strong financial planning skills and effective collaboration with faculty, staff, and industry partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop strategic objectives aligned with industry needs

• Provide leadership and guidance to faculty and staff

• Ensure effective functioning of School Committees

• Promote collaborations with external organizations

• Oversee quality assurance and program delivery

Requirements:

• Graduate degree, Master’s or Ph.D.

• Five years of senior management experience

• Strong communication and analytical skills

• Proven record in academic leadership

• Understanding of higher education issues
