Hybrid Development Officer, Annual Giving UBC

Become a key player in fundraising efforts as the Development Officer for Annual Giving at UBC, located in Vancouver, BC. This hybrid role focuses on managing donor relationships and executing fundraising strategies.

In this full-time position, you will play a vital role in administering annual giving programs, cultivating major gift prospects, and developing targeted proposals. You will work alongside UBC’s senior management to achieve annual fundraising goals of $750,000 to $1.5 million while ensuring comprehensive donor recognition and stewardship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop stewardship programs for major gift donors

• Conduct face-to-face visits to solicit major gifts

• Implement comprehensive fundraising strategies for alumni

• Prepare funding proposals and reports for administration

• Collaborate with faculty and external stakeholders

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

• At least three years of relevant experience

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• Strong understanding of UBC's academic environment

• Ability to supervise development staff
