Community Engagement Volunteer Coordinator

Make an impact in community engagement with Peace Health as a Volunteer Associate. This part-time, day role includes volunteer management and support with community outreach programs.

As the Community Engagement Volunteer Coordinator, you’ll work under the Volunteer Program Supervisor to facilitate volunteer recruitment, training, and operational tasks. You’ll also manage volunteer documentation and participate in recognition programs. This position is vital for sustaining supportive relationships within the healthcare community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Supervisor in recruiting and training volunteers

• Ensure all volunteers meet qualifications and requirements

• Manage recognition activities and data gathering efforts

• Participate in committees associated with volunteer services

• Provide coverage for the Supervisor as needed

Requirements:

• Associate Degree or equivalent experience required

• Minimum of 1 year experience in volunteer management preferred

• Outstanding organizational and communication skills required

• Proficient in MS Office applications required

• Preferred:
Certification in Volunteer Administration
