the Team

The Fundraising Events & Corporate Partnerships department is responsible for developing, leading and producing high caliber fundraising events, and managing and developing a portfolio of independent community events, cause related marketing opportunities and corporate partnerships. Collectively these initiatives contribute to the Foundation by generating fundraising revenue, growing our donor pipeline and increasing brand awareness, all while cultivating and strengthening relationships with our community.

the Role

The Signature Events Manager (Peer-to-Peer) is responsible for the overall success of the Foundation’s Signature Peer to Peer Event, leading its strategic direction, planning, execution, and long-term growth. This role focuses on participant led fundraising and community engagement, overseeing all elements of peer-to-peer strategy, revenue generation, supporter experience, and scalable growth.

With accountability for achieving annual fundraising targets, the Manager plays a critical role in advancing the Foundation’s mission by delivering an exceptional, participant centric fundraising experience and expanding the Foundation’s community-based donor pipeline. The position also contributes to the Foundation’s broader Community Giving and Engagement goals as well as the organization’s strategic plan.

This is an 18-month contract role

Key Responsibilities
  • Leads the development of a multi-year strategy for a NEW Signature Peer-to-Peer Event including revenue growth opportunities, participant acquisition and retention activities, and fundraising innovations that strengthen financial performance.
  • Leads the full lifecycle of the Peer-to-Peer Signature Event—from concept to post event stewardship—ensuring a compelling and accessible fundraising experience that motivates participants to support the Foundation.
  • Achieves or exceeds annual fundraising, participation, and engagement goals.
  • Designs participant journeys and fundraising experiences that inspire individuals and teams to activate their networks, increase fundraising activity, and deepen affinity with the Foundation, including virtual or in‑person formats.
  • Develops high impact peer to peer activations and fundraising moments that increase participation, average gift size, and total funds raised.
  • Maximizes net revenue across all peer‑to‑peer income streams, including participant fundraising, corporate teams, sponsor ships, matching gifts, and digital fundraising tools.
  • Builds pathways that connect peer to peer participants and donors to the Foundation’s broader donor pipelines, supporting growth in annual, leadership, major, and legacy giving.
  • Oversees software platforms, tools, and operational frameworks that support scalable peer‑to‑peer participation, including virtual engagement and satellite or self‑organized participation models.
  • Prepares post event reports, evaluations, and recommendations to inform future growth and continuous improvement.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert in peer to peer and community‑based fundraising, reinforcing best practices and supporting capability building across the team.
