Director of Philanthropy at Providence Health

Lead transformational fundraising as the Director of Philanthropy for Providence Health Care. This hybrid role requires strategic leadership and major gifts expertise to drive revenue growth and donor engagement.

As a senior leader in the Foundation's fundraising team, the Director will execute a comprehensive major gifts strategy alongside the Executive Director. Candidates must bring significant experience in philanthropy, team leadership, and proven success in securing principal gifts. This position also focuses on developing high-performing teams and promoting a robust culture of philanthropy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with executive leadership to develop major gifts strategy

• Mentor and develop a high-performing philanthropy team

• Manage a portfolio of major gift donors and prospects

• Oversee moves management and accurate data practices

• Lead complex gift planning and donor-centered engagement

Requirements:

• Post secondary degree in relevant field required

• Minimum 8 years in philanthropy with healthcare focus preferred

• Familiarity with Raiser's Edge or similar CRM systems

• Strong donor relationship management skills

• Successful criminal background check required
