Director of Philanthropy

Position: Director of Philanthropy at St. Paul's Foundation
Lead transformational giving as the Director of Philanthropy with St. Paul's Foundation. Focus on major gifts and team development in a hybrid work environment.

This permanent, full-time role reports to the Executive Director of Providence Programs and requires a forward-thinking leader. You will harness your strategic skills in fundraising, develop key donor relationships, and mentor a high-performing philanthropy team. Your efforts will drive significant revenue growth and yield long-term donor engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shape and execute major gifts strategy with the Executive Director

• Mentor and develop a high-performing philanthropy team

• Manage a personal portfolio targeting major and principal gifts

• Oversee pipeline development and move management in Raiser's Edge NXT

• Lead complex gift planning conversations aligning with donor goals

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree in a relevant field required

• Minimum of 8 years experience in philanthropy

• Proven track record in securing transformational gifts

• Proficiency in donor databases and CRM systems

• Recognized fundraising designation preferred
