The Landing Youth Centre (TLYC) is a community hub serving vulnerable youth and their families in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside and Grandview-Woodland neighbourhoods. We provide all-round support, programs, and services to youth and their families. As an organization we work to eliminate barriers, create safe spaces, and empower youth with a sense of stability.

About the Role
The Landing Youth Centre is seeking a highly organized, adaptable, and community-minded individual to fulfill the Youth Program & Centre Administrator position. The Youth Program & Centre Administrator will play a key role in coordinating youth programming, supporting community partnerships, managing administrative systems, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the youth centre.
This role may interact with some of the over 200 youth that are in the centre on a weekly basis engaged in mentorship, tutoring and various programs. Currently, 99% of our youth identify as IBPOC. The Landing is proud to serve the local community and do our best to provide quality mentors, opportunities and support services.

Community Partnership Communications & Outreach
Oversee Curriculum Development & Updates
Facilitator Coordination
Financial Administration & Budget Tracking
Impact Tracking
Grants & Funding Development Support
E-Learning Program Management
Centre Operations & Administration
Support the day-to-day operations and upkeep of The Landing Youth Centre to ensure a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for youth, families, staff, and partners.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting centre walkthroughs for supplies, restocking, and cleanliness checks
Supporting centre organization, recycling/compost systems, and facility upkeep
Liaising with cleaning teams and the Building Manager
Managing shared administrative email accounts and directing inquiries appropriately
Uploading and organizing receipts and invoices within financial systems
Supporting centre events, including setup and takedown alongside TLYC team
Assisting with impact report administration and general operational tasks
General Youth Program Support
Provide administrative and coordination support across youth programs and organizational priorities as needed.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting with program logistics and special projects
Supporting cross-functional programming needs
Helping maintain a collaborative, youth-centered environment
Providing flexible support based on evolving organizational priorities

Proficiency with Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms, Gmail)
Strong email communication skills
Canva proficiency considered an asset
Comfort learning and managing online platforms (e.g., Thinkific)
Time Management & Flexibility
Strong prioritization and problem-solving abilities
Comfortable balancing day-to-day administrative tasks with longer-term projects
Able to pivot quickly based on organizational needs
Willingness to support across multiple programs and initiatives
Employment Requirements
Successful completion of a Police Information Check including Vulnerable Sector Search
Attendance at Launchpad workshops for at least the first six months of employment
Access to a vehicle and ability to travel locally as required
Availability for occasional evenings and weekends as needed
Compensation
Full Time 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
$60,000
