In this vital role, you will report to the Director of Human Resources, focusing on volunteer recruitment, student placement management, and community engagement initiatives at Louis Brier Home and Hospital and the Weinberg Residence. You will develop meaningful partnerships with educational institutions while promoting a culture of person-centered care aligned with Jewish traditions and values.
Key Responsibilities:
• Recruit, screen, and select volunteers effectively
• Coordinate student placements with educational partners
• Develop onboarding processes for volunteers and students
• Promote volunteer opportunities within the community
• Organize appreciation events for volunteers and students
Requirements:
• Baccalaureate degree in a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in volunteer coordination
• Understanding of dementia and person-centered care
• Knowledge of Jewish traditions preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
