Youth Programs Coordinator at YMCA

Lead impactful youth initiatives at the Robert Lee YMCA or Tong Louie YMCA in a hybrid setting. This temporary, full-time role needs expertise in administration and program coordination.

The Youth Programs Coordinator will manage the Youth Exchanges Canada and Youth Peace Network programs. You will ensure smooth administrative processes, foster communications with Group Leaders, and enhance participant experiences. The role requires travel across Canada to support training and evaluations, making it essential for the right candidate to have strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote youth programs to diverse communities

• Maintain communication with Group Leaders

• Develop program budgets and track fundraising

• Identify risks and create contingency plans

• Support recruitment and participant support activities

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of related experience

• Strong logistics and administrative skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Excellent written and verbal communication

• Background check requirement
