In this role, you will collaborate with community members and organizations to implement educational programs, holiday celebrations, and cultural events. By coordinating activities for both residents and staff, the position emphasizes the importance of Jewish heritage, customs, and values. Your efforts will promote inclusion and social interaction while maintaining a warm, culturally rich environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute Jewish programs and events
• Coordinate schedules for holidays and celebrations
• Engage residents through educational activities
• Support staff training on Jewish customs and values
• Ensure safe and organized activity environments
Requirements:
• Graduation from a recognized recreation program
• Minimum one year related experience preferred
• Understanding of gerontology-based programming is an asset
• Bilingual in English and Hebrew
• Ability to manage diverse populations compassionately
