York Region Educational Services (YRES) is dedicated to leading community volunteerism as a proud recipient of Canada’s Volunteer Award, offering a range of volunteer positions across the Greater Vancouver Area, Greater Toronto Area, Ottawa, and Alberta. We are looking for a Market Research Assistant Volunteer who is devoted to giving back to their community and making an impact.

• Plan and execute marketing campaigns to promote programs and events
• Manage social media, website content, and digital communications
• Create marketing materials such as newsletters, posters, and presentations
• Conduct research and track performance to improve campaigns
• Coordinate events and outreach to boost community engagement
• Collaborate with partners to ensure consistent branding and messaging

• Develop and enhance transferable soft skills like leadership, teamwork, and communication
• Gain experience and volunteer hours that can be added to a résumé
• Receive free training
• Free networking opportunities

• Minimum age 12
• Passionate about volunteering and open to learning new skills and software
• Complete training prior to start date
• Can commit to the scheduled shift hours
• Fluency or high proficiency in a language other than English
• Previous volunteer experience
