Join Musqueam as the Major Projects Coordinator, responsible for environmental stewardship leadership within the community. Your analytical and managerial skills will drive substantial environmental initiatives.
In this role, you will guide important projects under the Environmental Stewardship Department Manager. From drafting professional documents to analyzing complex data sets, your contributions will shape Musqueam’s environmental policies and practices. Establish and maintain crucial relationships with stakeholders to promote the community’s stewardship efforts and rights.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead project implementation and strategy development
• Prepare detailed reports and legal agreements
• Conduct community engagement and gather ecological knowledge
• Advocate for environmental practices aligned with Musqueam values
• Manage project budgets and funding opportunities
Requirements:
• Degree in biology or resource management
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in relevant fields
• Strong experience with budgeting and financial management
• Effective in advocacy and stakeholder relationships
• Advanced MS Office proficiency and analytical skills
