Position: Operations Coordinator Role
Join the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre as an Operations Coordinator to enhance operations and facilitate support for vulnerable women and children. Drive daily maintenance and service excellence.

The Operations Coordinator is a core position at DEWC, dedicated to facilitating smooth operations of facilities that serve women and children in need. You will be responsible for maintenance coordination and daily operational tasks, working closely with the Facilities Manager and DEWC staff. Candidates should possess at least two years of relevant experience and knowledge of trauma-informed care, particularly in a non-profit context.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily facility maintenance and repair operations

• Collaborate with staff to maintain a safe environment

• Ensure operational practices meet established standards

• Advocate for DEWC's mission and values in interactions

• Handle scheduling and organizational record keeping efficiently

Requirements:

• Minimum of two years in an operations role, preferably in non-profits

• Understanding of issues women face in Downtown Eastside

• Strong IT skills, especially in Microsoft 365

• Proficient in written and verbal communication

• Strong organizational abilities and problem-solving skills
