Cultivate community engagement as a Temporary Full-Time Volunteer Coordinator with PLEA Community Services in Vancouver, BC. This role focuses on recruiting, training, and managing volunteers in mentoring programs.

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant experience, emphasizing strong communication and organizational skills. As the Volunteer Coordinator, you will ensure volunteers are matched effectively, trained well, and provided ongoing support in their roles.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate referral and orientation for mentees
• Assess and match volunteers based on their skills
• Train and evaluate volunteers on an ongoing basis
• Maintain accurate volunteer personnel records
• Manage community outreach to promote volunteering
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in human/social services
• Two years of experience with vulnerable children/youth
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and database systems
• Valid Class 5 or 7N Driver's License required
Lead volunteer efforts and improve youth mentoring through your expertise with PLEA in Vancouver.
