This position requires developing, coordinating, and implementing a variety of Jewish cultural activities and events. You'll engage residents in meaningful ways through educational sessions on Jewish customs, rituals, and values. Collaborating with community organizations will be crucial to ensure a vibrant cultural experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement engaging Jewish holidays and events
• Organize education for residents and staff on traditions
• Facilitate community collaboration for enriched programming
• Monitor participant engagement and report observations
• Maintain clean and organized activity areas
Requirements:
• Recognized recreation program graduation
• At least one year of relevant experience preferred
• Knowledge of aging and gerontology is beneficial
• Communicate effectively in English and Hebrew
• Physical capability for active duties in the role
