Position: Fund Development Leader for Major Gifts
Join YWCA Vancouver as a Fund Development Leader focusing on Major Gifts in this hybrid role. Play a vital part in securing funding for essential community programs and capital projects.

In this position, you will oversee relationships with major gift donors while contributing to a collaborative effort within the Fund Development team. Your expertise in proposal writing, relationship management, and strategic planning will directly influence our fundraising successes and mission fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow major gift prospect relationships

• Lead donor stewardship and recognition strategies

• Develop and execute funding proposals and reports

• Participate in donor event planning and execution

• Conduct research on social issues relevant to YWCA's mission

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience required

• Strong relationship-building and fundraising skills

• High proficiency in oral and written communication

• Familiarity with Raiser’s Edge is preferred

• Strong commitment to IDEA principles
