This is a pivotal role reporting to the Director of Human Resources, focusing on the coordination and evaluation of volunteer programs and student placements. Your collaborative work with educational institutions and community partners aims to create enriching volunteer experiences and advance workforce development. You will ensure that placements meet strategic organizational needs and support residents, families, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Screen and onboard volunteers according to set guidelines
• Collaborate with educational partners to fulfill student placements
• Develop communication strategies for volunteer recruitment
• Organize recognition and appreciation events for volunteers
• Maintain accurate records of volunteer and student activities
Requirements:
• Baccalaureate degree in a relevant field
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
• Excellent public relations and communication skills
• Background in community engagement or healthcare environments
• Preferred knowledge of Jewish culture and community
Drive volunteerism and strategic placements to elevate community health at Louis Brier Home & Hospital.
