Volunteer Coordination

Position: Full-Time Volunteer Coordination Role
Take the lead in volunteer management as a Full-Time Volunteer Coordinator with PLEA Community Services in Vancouver, BC. This crucial role focuses on mentoring program success through effective volunteer oversight.

The temporary contract targets individuals who hold a Bachelor’s degree and two years of related experience. Your responsibilities will involve training volunteers, coordinating their placements, and ensuring engagement with vulnerable community members. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee intake and training of volunteers

• Match volunteers to appropriate mentees effectively

• Maintain thorough records of volunteer activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a social/human services field

• Two years of experience working with vulnerable populations

• Strong leadership and organizational abilities

• Familiarity with relevant legislation and policies

• Must possess a valid Class 5 or 7N B.C. Driver's License
