Join The Borgen Project as a Journalist passionate about alleviating global poverty. This unpaid, part-time remote program is your opportunity to write and advocate for meaningful change.
As a Journalist, you'll dedicate 12 hours a week over 12 weeks to create compelling articles for BORGEN Magazine and assist with vital fundraising initiatives. No prior experience is necessary, just a desire to contribute to advocacy efforts and support those affected by poverty and conflict.
Key Responsibilities:
• Write articles focusing on poverty issues for publication
• Research topics that matter to the global community
• Assist in advocacy campaigns for social change
• Launch and promote your personal fundraising campaign
• Meet established fundraising goals for better outreach
Requirements:
• Genuine interest in global poverty and advocacy
• No prior journalism or writing experience needed
• Commitment to a 12-hour work schedule weekly
• Ability to work remotely and self-manage time
• Willing to earn academic credit through the program
