This fixed-term, six-month contract position focuses on managing physical donations for vulnerable youth aged 16 to 24. You'll be responsible for greeting donors, sorting items, and filling requests for clothing and toiletries while supporting our Christmas Backpack Campaign.
Your role is essential in ensuring that donated items directly benefit the youth we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet donors in the parkade or reception area
• Sort, process, and decide which donations to keep
• Fill youth clothing and toiletry requests timely
• Support the Christmas Backpack Campaign effectively
• Maintain cleanliness in the sorting area
Requirements:
• One year of previous relevant work experience
• Ability to lift and carry boxes up to 15 pounds
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Strong professional communication with donors
• Previous experience with donations preferred
