Join Musqueam Indian Band as a Grant Report Writer, where you will secure crucial funding through effective grant writing and maintain pivotal project tracking.
In this key role, you will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer, assisting in identifying and applying for grants that support the Band's initiatives. Your responsibilities include crafting compelling grant proposals tailored to specific funding sources, ensuring compliance, and providing analytical insights to management. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders while managing deadlines and expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and research funding opportunities effectively
• Write concise and persuasive grant proposals
• Collaborate on detailed project budgets and plans
• Oversee the grant application process thoroughly
• Conduct audits to verify compliance and data accuracy
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in public policy or related fields
• Over 3 years of experience in relevant environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Understanding of Indigenous issues and frameworks
