As a Senior Development Officer, you will leverage your fundraising skills to cultivate and steward a diverse range of major donors. This position is crucial for achieving the Wilder Institute's vision by enhancing its donor network across British Columbia.
Your role includes collaborating with stakeholders to maximize fundraising opportunities and drive community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage major gift donor strategies
• Achieve defined fundraising and interaction metrics
• Steward relationships with individual and corporate donors
• Prepare compelling donor proposals and impact reports
• Maintain accurate donor records and reporting
Requirements:
• 5–10 years in major gifts fundraising
• Success in securing large donations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication talents
• Project management within budget constraints
• Valid driver's license for travel within the region
Fuel conservation efforts through effective fundraising and meaningful donor relationships at Wilder Institute.
