The Supervisor, Women’s Outreach provides leadership and oversight to the Women’s Outreach team at UGM, supporting staff in building meaningful relationships and providing compassionate, effective care to women in the community. This role focuses on fostering a healthy, collaborative team culture while ensuring outreach services are delivered with dignity, respect, and consistency.

Responsibilities include providing day-to-day leadership to the outreach team, supporting staff, volunteers, and practicum students, and overseeing community-based programs and services, including food bank support. The Supervisor will help ensure women are connected to practical resources, community supports, and other services based on their individual needs.

Working closely with the Manager, Community Services, the Supervisor will contribute to outreach initiatives, build relationships with internal and external partners, and support effective service delivery. The role also provides spiritual mentorship and models Christlike leadership, ensuring that outreach practices align with UGM’s mission, vision, and core values.

This is a  Permanent, Full-Time Position (37.5 hours per week).

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm. The starting wage range for this position is  $31.92 to $34.88  per hour.

Main

Duties & Responsibilities

Model Christ in word and deed.

30%- Partner with Community Services leadership in providing branch direction, overseeing operations, collaborative problem-solving, handling complex and difficult issues with team members or community members, and ensuring timely follow-up on action items. In collaboration with the Manager of Community Services, develop and implement a vision for Outreach, including Community walks and Program development.

20%- Hire, orient, and train outreach team members, volunteers, and practicum students. Provide ongoing supervision, mentorship, and regular performance feedback. Foster an environment of growth and development by coaching and encouraging team members to meet their full potential.

10%- Provide spiritual leadership by regularly participating in chapel services and overseeing prayer times as well as offering pastoral care, prayer and spiritual direction to team members and community members

10% - Review and report on KPIs, prepare and contribute to reports, and ensure all community member documentation is done accurately and appropriately

10% - Support general administrative duties, including managing activities at the centre and coordinating major meals and events to ensure they align with program objectives and the needs of the community.

10% - Network and collaborate with internal and external partners

5% - Plan and participate in staff meetings, training and development opportunities to foster continuous learning and growth within the team.
