The Role
As a Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper, you are an essential part of our kitchen team. Reporting to the Head Chef, you will ensure our kitchen runs smoothly by maintaining impeccable cleanliness and supporting our culinary team with prep work. Your dedication to hygiene helps us deliver the best sushi experience in the city.
Key Responsibilities
• Dishwashing: Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, and kitchen utensils using industrial dishwashers.
• Area Maintenance: Maintain a spotless, organized, and safe dishwashing station.
• Food Prep Support: Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks (chopping, portioning, etc.) as needed.
• General Cleaning: Manage trash removal and perform routine deep-cleaning of kitchen surfaces.
• Safety Standards: Strictly follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Front-of-House Support: Assist front staff with clearing tables during busy peak periods.
Requirements & Qualifications
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a similar restaurant role is preferred; however, we are willing to provide training for the right candidate.
• Speed & Efficiency: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-Oriented: A strong commitment to cleanliness and organization.
• Availability: Must be available for weekday evening shifts and weekends.
