Lux Cafe & Lounge is hiring a strong Bar Manager / Lead Bartender to help lead our bar program, set standards, and support daily operations in a premium, high-energy environment.
Presentation & Presence: We re looking for servers with a polished, camera-ready presence, confident communication, and a passion for high-touch, luxury hospitality.
Guest-Facing Role: This is a highly guest-facing position requiring refined demeanor, strong social awareness, and the ability to create a premium, memorable experience.
Professional Standards: Candidates should maintain a well-groomed, polished appearance and embody the Lux Cafe & Lounge standard of upscale service.
Late-Night Energy: Comfortable working in a glamorous late-night lounge environment, with the poise and professionalism expected in a high-end venue.
Late-Night Lounge Service (Required): After dinner service ends around 11:00 PM
, the entire restaurant transitions into one full bar & lounge experience with a late-night menu
. Availability to work until approximately 2:00 AM is required on scheduled nights.
Rotating shifts (AM/PM)
Extended operating hours must be available for evenings and late-night shifts
Weekends and holidays availability preferred
Lead the bar team during service; keep speed, quality, and hospitality at a high level
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and station readiness (mise en place, prep, closing)
Inventory control: counts, par levels, ordering, receiving, and storage organization
Cost control: manage waste, spills, comps, and pour-cost awareness
Train and coach bartenders on recipes, technique, service standards, and responsible alcohol service
Ensure compliance with Washington State alcohol laws and company policies
Work with management/FOH to keep service smooth and guest experience consistent
Comfortable using POS and basic daily reporting
Previous experience as Bar Manager, Lead Bartender, or strong senior bartender
Proven ability to lead a team and handle high-volume service
Strong knowledge of classic cocktails and bar fundamentals
Reliable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Valid work authorization in the
MAST permit (or ability to obtain quickly)
Competitive pay (based on experience) + tips/bonus potential (role dependent).
