OverviewFood services manager responsible for overseeing daily operations, menu pricing, cost control, staff supervision, inventory management, health & safety compliance, and customer service in a fast‑paced urban restaurant.
Responsibilities- Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget
- Monitor staff performance
- Plan and organize daily operations
- Recruit staff and set work schedules
- Supervise and train staff
- Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
- Cost products and services
- Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
- Organize and maintain inventory
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Provide customer service
- 1 to 2 people
