Fred&;s West 4th | Server & Bartender

Fred’s Italian is looking for an experienced Bartender/Server to join our team!

We’re a neighbourhood restaurant serving modern Italian fare, with a focus on great food, drinks, and warm, genuine hospitality.

We’re looking for someone who is confident behind the bar and on the floor, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and knows how to create a great guest experience.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable service to our guests
• Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and other beverages
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Guide guests through the menu and make thoughtful food and beverage recommendations
• Upsell menu items, cocktails, wine, and features naturally
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and professionally
• Process guest payments accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar and service area
• Work collaboratively with the FOH and BOH teams to ensure smooth service
• Follow all food safety, liquor service, and sanitation standards

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 1 year of serving experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of bartending experience preferred
• Valid Serving It Right certification
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits
• Friendly and confident communication skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy services
• Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
• Reliable, positive, and team-oriented
• A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
