Prepare resident-centered meals as a Cook at Sunrise of Killarney in Vancouver, using standardized recipes and careful food safety practices.
This casual Cook position supports Sunrise Senior Living’s resident-centered dining experience. You will prepare meals, follow dietary modifications, and maintain kitchen standards. The work includes food preparation, production records, sanitation, and dining service support.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and serve meals using standardized recipes and menus
- Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements
- Record production quantities and food safety temperatures
- Stock, rotate, date, and store food safely
- Lead food production when the coordinator is absent
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
- Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas
- Complete cleaning logs and maintenance reports
- Support dishwashing and dining service as needed
- Work as a casual employee on an as-needed basis
Bring meal preparation, dietary awareness, and kitchen safety skills to Sunrise Senior Living residents in Vancouver.
