Pay: $18.50/hour + uncapped commissions

We’re hiring a high-energy Membership Sales Team Lead to drive membership growth, lead front desk operations, and build strong community connections. This role is ideal for a confident closer who thrives in a goal-driven environment.

• Available Sundays and evenings - 30-32 hours*
• No extended summer travel
• Living on campus
  , or Vancouver resident with reliable transportation
• Ties to the UBC community and asset
• Previous sales experience
• Valid First Aid certificate
• Fluent in English (additional languages an asset)

• Meet or exceed weekly membership sales targets
• Convert walk-ins, tours, and inquiries into memberships
• Track leads, follow-ups, and close rates to the Gold's Gym Standard
• Upsell promotions, add-ons, and referrals
• Greet members and guests during check-in and manage front desk tasks
• Maintain strong first impressions and member experience
• Community Outreach
• Represent the gym at campus and local community events
• Build referral partnerships and on-site activations
• Support pop-ups, tabling, and promotional initiatives
• Greet and welcome members and guests
• Ensure all guest check in procedures are completed
• Handing member concerns and questions
• Assist with schedule coverage
