We are seeking a solutions-driven Client Development Representative to support our Marketing and Business Development efforts by helping connect client needs with the right internal expertise. If this sounds like you, read on.

Job Description

The Client Development Representative plays a fundamental part in driving revenue growth by identifying new opportunities, maintaining strong customer relationships, developing and converting leads, and supporting the successful closing of proposals. The ideal candidate is a confident communicator with a customer-first mindset, strong industry knowledge, and a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Drive proposal opportunities from initial qualification through closing, coordinating with internal teams
  • Qualify project leads and converting them into successful opportunities
  • Proactively engage leads, prospects, and existing customers to generate new revenue opportunities
  • Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual targets and activity metrics, working closely with technical teams to support successful opportunity outcomes
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding client needs and business objectives
  • Participate in client service discussions and meetings alongside project managers and departmental leaders, supporting opportunity development and follow-up
  • Utilize equipment data and convert into campaigns for various services
  • Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting, activity reporting, and data integrity within CRM systems
  • Provide structured market and client feedback to management to support service development and positioning
  • Support cross-departmental growth by identifying client needs and facilitating collaboration between departments
  • Collaborate with marketing, technical, and leadership teams to align efforts, support campaigns with field insights, and drive pipeline growth
  • Provide guidance and informal training to internal teams on client development practices, market insights, and effective use of sales tools and data
Who You Are
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in the elevator industry, with a strong understanding of services and market dynamics
  • Proven experience in inside sales, telesales, or a similar client development role
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field an asset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with strong negotiation and interpersonal abilities
  • Communication skills in French an asset
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and CRM management
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and proactive, with a solutions-oriented approach
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, the Microsoft Office Suite, CRM platforms, and comfort adopting new digital tools
