Our Vancouver-based client is seeking a Sales Director to drive net-new logo acquisition and revenue growth. This is a hands‑on sales role, not a people‑management position. The successful candidate will focus primarily on hunting, opening, and closing new accounts within industrial and municipal environments.
This role is approximately 90% direct sales/revenue generation and 10% team contribution, with the opportunity to evolve into a leadership role as the company scales.
Key Responsibilities- Own the full sales cycle for new customer acquisition, from prospecting to close
- Drive revenue growth by selling industrial software platform into complex operational environments
- Engage and influence technical and commercial decision-makers, including:
- Plant Managers
- Contract Operators
- Procurement Managers
- Technical and Digital Teams
- Commercial and Partnership Teams
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Clearly articulate technical value, ROI, and operational impact to engineering‑led buyers
- Represent company at industry events, conferences, and select client visits
- Proven success in industrial sales, ideally including:
- Industrial software sales
- Software sold into industrial or operational settings
- Engineering background is essential (sales organization is engineer‑led)
- Strong understanding of industrial processes and how technology supports operational efficiency
- Demonstrated ability to close complex, consultative sales with multiple stakeholders
- Self‑motivated and effective in a remote selling environment
- Open to candidates anywhere in Canada
- 10–15% travel for client meetings and industry conferences
