The Role:As an SDR, you are the first point of contact for prospective wholesale customers. Your focus for the first three to six months is to generate interest, qualify accounts, and convert prospects into registered wholesale partners — building the pipeline for our Sales team. After three to six months you will also close new accounts and expand existing ones.
What You’ll Do:- Make outbound calls to prospective dispensaries, smoke shops, and retailers.
- Generate interest and promote WCG’s product offering.
- Convert prospects into qualified wholesale registrations.
- Overcome objections and build strong rapport.
- Close new wholesale accounts (dispensaries, smoke shops, lifestyle retailers).
- Grow and manage an assigned portfolio of customers.
- Hit daily and monthly KPIs.
- Track activity in Hub Spot CRM.
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing sales training.
This role is designed as a stepping stone into a closing Sales Specialist position for high performers. You’ll work directly with experienced Sales Specialists and leadership, gain real-world B2B experience, and build the foundation needed to advance into a revenue-generating closing role.
What We’re Looking For:- 1–2 years of sales or outbound calling experience.
- Confident, persuasive communicator.
- Goal‑oriented and competitive.
- Organized and self‑motivated.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Interest in the cannabis accessories industry.
- Comfortable with CRM, Google Workspace and MS Office.
- Experience in wholesale, distribution, or cannabis sales is an asset — but drive and coachability matter most.
