We’re looking for a relationship-focused, service-driven Retirement Sales Consultant to support sales and occupancy at Shannon Oaks Vancouver , one of our vibrant independent living communities.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building trust over time , guiding people through important life decisions, and working within a longer, consultative sales cycle .

If your strengths lie in account management, hospitality, real estate, or relationship-based sales, rather than fast-paced transactional selling, you’ll feel right at home here.

About The Role This is a permanent, full-time position (Tuesday–Saturday) based on site at Shannon Oaks Vancouver.

Occasional flexibility for evenings or weekends may be required to support tours or events.

As the Retirement Sales Consultant, you are often the first point of connection for prospective residents and their families.

You’ll walk alongside them as they explore retirement living, offering thoughtful guidance, personalized tours, and consistent follow-up.

Success in this role comes from rapport-building, organization, and persistence , not pressure tactics.

Key Responsibilities Lead personalized community tours using a consultative, relationship-centred sales approach Manage inquiries and follow-ups through CRM systems, supporting prospects through a longer decision-making cycle Build and maintain relationships with prospective residents, families, and referral partners Assist with internal and external marketing initiatives, including events, outreach, and community engagement Support assessments of prospective residents for lifestyle and financial fit Coordinate move-ins and help ensure a smooth, welcoming transition into the community Collaborate with internal teams to stay informed on upcoming resident transitions Participate in community events and activities to foster ongoing relationships Support the development and distribution of marketing materials across multiple channels Requirements Post-secondary education in marketing, sales, hospitality, or a related field 2+ years of experience in relationship-based sales , account management, hospitality, real estate, senior living, or a similar field Experience working with longer sales cycles and multiple stakeholders First Aid OFA Level 1 (or willingness to obtain) Comfort working with older adults and sensitivity to the complexity of retirement decisions Proficiency with CRM systems, email, Microsoft Office, and Canva Strong organizational and follow-up skills with excellent attention to detail Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a broader team Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills Ability to work on site at Shannon Oaks Vancouver (local proximity is an asset) About You You’re warm, genuine, and naturally relationship-oriented.
