Position: Associate Sales Representative - Instruments (OI/ST

What you will do: 

As an Associate Sales Representative, Instruments(Orthopedic Instruments & Surgical Technologies) you willassistin strategically promoting and selling Stryker products to meet our customers’ needs. You confidently conduct product evaluations in OR and office settings, persuasivelydemonstratingthe value of our products. Systematically tracking yourterritoryprogress, you proactively communicate your wins with your Sales Representatives and push yourself to exceed each goal. When onsite with clients, you use your product knowledge and quick thinking to solve product problems and inform doctors,nursesand other staff as to the proper use and maintenance of our products.

You takegreat pridein excellent service and are prepared toassista customer whenever the need arises. As an Associate Representative, you love living in the fast lane and find purpose in selling Stryker products that are making healthcare better. 

  • Assist Sales Representatives in the promotion and sales of Stryker products 

  • Educates and informs doctors, nurses, andappropriate staffpersonnel as to the proper use and maintenance of Stryker products 

  • Directs product evaluations in operating rooms and office settings 

  • Mayassistin the preparation and operation of trade shows, conventions, and/or clinical meetings 

  • Keeps Regional Sales Manager and Sales Representatives informed of territory progress on a regular basis 

  • Solves product problems for customers inan expeditiousfashion 

  • Manage andmaintaina sample inventory of products 

  • Understands and adheres to all OR and pertinent OSHA guidelines when conducting a product evaluation 

  • Has authority to recommend andinitiatepreventative and correction actionwith regard toproduct non-conformances and quality system activities 

  • What you need 

    Required:

  • University Degree

  • 1+ yearsof experience

  • Preferred:

  • Degree in business with an emphasis in marketing OR a degree in a health-related discipline, science, or kinesiology 

  • 1+ years of experience in Medical Device Sales

  • Additional Information:

  • Must be able to travel (ground and air) to support territory responsibilities as well as company-related duties and obligations

  • Must have a valid driver’s license

  • $80,000 and may be eligible to earn variable commission + benefits.

    Travel Percentage : 50%
