A national industry association is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to grow and strengthen its membership across British Columbia. This position is suitable for either a Business Development Manager within the mortgage industry or a Broker thats looking to take the next step.
The ideal candidate is a proven sales professional with deep knowledge of the BC mortgage market and a strong existing network of brokers, brokerages, lenders, and industry partners. Acting as the organization’s primary representative in BC, you will be accountable for driving measurable membership growth and long-term engagement.
Salary: $70,000-$90,000 + commission
Shift: 9am-5pm
Fully remote
Key Responsibilities
Prospect, recruit, and close new corporate and individual members across BC
Build and maintain strong relationships with mortgage industry stakeholders
Represent the organization at industry events and networking opportunities
Manage member relationships to support retention and renewals
Qualifications
5+ years’ experience in the mortgage broker channel with an established BC network
Proven success in business development, sales, or membership growth
Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills
