Role OverviewEra Tree is seeking a Full-Time Sales and Trading Associate to drive institutional trading volume and expand strategic client relationships across Canada, United States, and international markets.
This is a revenue-focused role suited for a driven sales professional with experience in crypto, fintech, or institutional financial services. The associate will be responsible for client acquisition, relationship management, trade execution, client payments, and help manage our portfolio of clientele. Further, commission will be fair and equitable in proportion to the volume of business you generate.
The role must cover Eastern Standard Time (EST) to support Era Tree’s needs.
Key Responsibilities Institutional Client Acquisition- Identify, prospect, and onboard institutional clients including hedge funds, family offices, asset managers, corporate treasuries, payment processors, and crypto-native firms.
- Build and manage a pipeline of OTC trading opportunities.
- Position Era Tree as a trusted liquidity partner for large block transactions.
- Develop and maintain a book of institutional clients.
- Serve as the primary relationship lead for the clients they onboard.
- Coordinate with trading colleagues, operations, and compliance teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Represent Era Tree at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to strengthen brand presence.
- Manage the full sales cycle from outreach through onboarding and trade coordination.
- Lead commercial discussions and fee negotiations.
- Monitor client activity and identify growth opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field; advanced degree a plus.
- 2–5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management within crypto, FX, or capital markets.
- Strong understanding of OTC trading, liquidity management, and settlement flows.
- Demonstrated ability to originate and close high-value deals in fast-moving markets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a distributed team environment.
- Experience with CRM tools and proficiency in English; additional languages an asset.
