Account Executive
Overview
Account Executives sell Rentokil’s industry‑leading pest management services and products to new and existing commercial customers. They maintain a customer‑focused approach, train on pest‑identification, and deliver proposals that convert into sales.
Responsibilities- Create new business opportunities through cold calling, prospecting, networking, leads, referrals, and cross‑selling.
- Visually inspect buildings for pests, pest harborage, pest entries, and related issues.
- Based on assessment findings, sell pest control solutions as well as preventative maintenance for commercial customers.
- Craft territory development strategies that exceed sales targets.
- Maintain complete knowledge of Rentokil’s programs, protocols, pricing policies, and service offerings.
- Build partnerships and collaborate with internal departments to maximize growth opportunities and ensure delivery of outstanding service solutions.
- Complete daily activities and track sales performance using the company sales CRM.
Responsibility involves regular movement of up to 10lb and frequent lifting of 11–20lb, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. Vehicles and equipment must be operated safely, often in confined spaces. OSHA‑compliant PPE may be required.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license from current state of residence.
- Strong social, customer service, and communication skills.
- Preferred:
Two years of B2B sales experience, especially in prospecting (cold calling, lead generation, networking). - Self‑motivated hunter mentality with ability to work independently.
- Willingness to obtain any required industry licenses provided by the company.
- Travel up to 100% within assigned territory(s).
Base Pay Range: $55,000.00 – $65,000.00 annually. Total earnings may include incentives, commissions, overtime, and route assignment where applicable.
