We are entering our next phase of growth, shifting from rapid distribution expansion to deeper retail execution and long-term brand building. We are looking for a National Account Manager to help lead that next chapter.
The Impact You’ll HaveAs National Account Manager, you will own key retail partnerships across Canada, with a focus on accelerating growth in Alberta and Ontario as priority markets. You will lead account strategy, trade planning, and commercial negotiations, while partnering closely with brokers and distributors to deliver strong in-store execution nationwide. Experience with major Canadian retailers is highly valued. This may include retailers such as Shoppers Drug Mart, Loblaws, Sobeys, Costco, London Drugs, Rexall, or other key national and regional partners.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccount Leadership and Growth
- Own and grow a portfolio of national and key regional retail accounts
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with buyers, category teams, and key stakeholder
- Lead strategic planning conversations and joint business planning with retail partners
- Develop and execute account plans that drive distribution, velocity, and premium in-store execution
Broker and Distributor Execution
- Lead broker and distributor partners with clear priorities and strong accountability
- Drive in-store execution across merchandising, promotions, and launches
- Ensure partner activity aligns with within
Us® strategy and brand standards - Establish consistent execution rhythms and clear communication across regions.
Commercial and Financial Ownership
- Own trade spend, pricing strategy, and profitability across accounts
- Negotiate annual agreements, promotional calendars, and key commercial terms
Analyze sales performance, forecasts, and customer metrics to guide decision‑making - Improve promotional effectiveness and ensure disciplined trade investment
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Marketing, Operations, and Finance to support strong retail execution
- Support retailer‑specific launches, promotional programs, and sales materials
- Represent within
Us® professionally at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events
You will be successful in this role if you:
- Lead with integrity, transparency, and strong commercial judgment
- Build relationships through trust, clarity, and consistent follow‑through
- Think long-term and protect brand equity alongside sales performance
- Communicate early, directly, and collaboratively with internal and external partners
- Balance ambition with discipline, prioritizing sustainable velocity over short‑term wins
- Take ownership while staying aligned with team priorities and company direction
In the first 12 to 18 months, success will include:
- Accelerating velocity and brand awareness in Alberta and Ontario
- Strengthening joint business plans with priority retail partners
- Improving trade spend effectiveness and promotional ROI
- Building consistent broker and distributor execution rhythms across Canada
- Becoming a trusted commercial voice internally and a valued partner externally
- 5+ years of key account management or sales experience in Canadian CPG, supplements, or natural health
- Proven success in managing national or key regional retail accounts across multiple channels
- Experience working with brokers and distributors alongside direct retail customers
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation ability, and analytical forecasting skills
- Highly organized with strong follow‑through across complex priorities
- A relationship‑driven leadership style grounded in trust and thoughtful decision‑making
- Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience
- Eligible to work in Canada with the ability to travel regularly
- Valid driver’s license
