General Responsibilities
  • Contact assigned customer accounts to sell the organization’s products within a designated geographic territory.
  • Focus on territory sales targets, new business development, and troubleshoot key markets.
  • May have special markets/complex product lines that require strong client relationship skills.
  • Organize own work routine with guidance from the Regional Sales Manager and Marketing department.
Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate selling skills and mastery of product key messages.
  • Consistently deliver product information to customers across diverse selling situations.
  • Engage customers in needs-based discussions to position products as solutions.
  • Leverage clinical, business, and social needs of the customer to drive product adoption and build long-term loyalty.
  • Treat everyone in the office as a customer – front‑office staff, nurses, office managers, etc.
  • Read the environment in an office/clinic and adapt the approach accordingly.
  • Act entrepreneurially, managing the territory as a personal business.
  • Formulate short‑ and long‑term customer plans to achieve sales objectives.
  • Own results and demonstrate accountability.
  • Show strategic agility and business acumen, taking a broader view of the territory to assess growth potential.
  • Develop effective business plans using data sources such as Xponent, TSA sales, and FSA data.
  • Use doctor‑level data to individualize selling approaches.
  • Ensure appropriate call frequency on key physicians and optimize access to decision‑makers.
  • Maintain a strong customer focus, meeting expectations and requirements of external and internal customers.
  • Establish and maintain effective customer relationships, gaining trust and respect.
Education & Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business or Sciences.
  • 5–7 years of proven pharmaceutical sales experience with CNS experience required.

Total Rewards

The starting base pay range is $112,630 – $140,787, depending on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, education, and location. In addition to base pay, the role is eligible for an annual bonus program or a sales incentive plan.
