ARDEX Canada is immediately hiring for a COMMERCIAL ARCHITECTURAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE, to cover VANCOVER and ALBERTA, with a preferred home base location of VANCOUVER, CANADA.
As COMMERCIAL ARCHITECTURAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE
, you will play a critical role in bridging the front end of design and specification with the back end of execution and sales—ensuring ARDEX solutions are specified, supported, and delivered on site, and be a trusted resource to customers and internal teams.
Daily territory travel with some overnight.
What you will do
Architect & Specifier Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, designers, engineers, and consultantsDeliver product presentations, CEUs, and lunch & learns to drive specification opportunitiesSecure specifications across key market segments (e.g., healthcare, hospitality, commercial, retail)Attend industry events and tradeshows to build brand presence and awarenessContractor & Installer Coordination
Partner with contractors, subcontractors, and installers to ensure product acceptance and correct applicationProvide technical recommendations, job start assistance, and field support as neededSupport quoting and bidding processes with clear and accurate documentationCollaborate with Technical Services, Sales, and Logistics teams to ensure successful executionProject Tracking & Pipeline Management
Manage active specifications and project pipelines using A4CTrack projects from design through installation, maintaining accurate and up-to-date recordsIdentify and mitigate risks where specifications may be lost during project transitionsEnsure proactive follow-up to keep projects moving forwardSupport tracking and market development through construction data platformsParticipate in regular internal project reviews to align priorities and timelinesMarket Development & Sales Strategy
Identify new business opportunities and areas for growth within the territoryMonitor competitor activity and provide market insightsContribute customer feedback to support product positioning and developmentPartner with Global Projects Services (GPS) and architectural initiatives, as appropriateInternal Collaboration & Reporting
Collaborate effectively with Territory Sales, Architectural, Technical, and Marketing teamsProvide regular updates and reports to leadershipParticipate in ARDEX sales training and development programsExperience and Skills:
What you will bring to ARDEX
Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, construction, or architectural specificationKnowledge of flooring or tiling installation products or systems is preferredStrong presentation and interpersonal communication skillsTechnical aptitude with the ability to support products in both office and field environmentsUnderstanding of architectural specifications and construction processesHighly organized with strong follow-up and time management skillsSelf-motivated, proactive, and results-drivenExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh level of professionalism, integrity, and sound judgmentProficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/project tracking tools (e.g., A4C)Valid driver’s license with a clean driving recordExemplifies ARDEX Values:
