Our commercial division supports facility builds and outfitting projects across Canada, working closely with operators and partners to deliver high-quality training environments.

We are expanding our presence in British Columbia and are looking for someone who wants to take ownership of building and leading that market.

Role Description

This is a territory-building role.

You will be responsible for developing and executing the commercial growth strategy for British Columbia. You will generate new business, manage inbound opportunities, build institutional relationships, and close commercial outfitting projects across the province.

Qualifications
  • Develop and execute the commercial growth strategy for British Columbia, including priority verticals and target accounts.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking, and structured follow-up.
  • Own both outbound business development and inbound commercial leads within the territory. Identify, engage, and close new institutional and commercial opportunities.
  • Conduct in-person meetings, facility assessments, presentations, and product demonstrations.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers, operators, and commercial partners.
  • Develop tailored outfitting proposals across Northern Fitness’ multi-brand portfolio.
  • Participate in RFP and institutional procurement processes where applicable.
  • Maintain disciplined use of Hub Spot CRM for pipeline management, forecasting, and activity tracking.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and regional market opportunities.
  • Travel throughout British Columbia to build relationships and close business.
Performance Expectations
  • Meet or exceed defined quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Maintain consistent outbound activity and territory penetration.
  • Keep a clean, accurate, and up-to-date pipeline within Hub Spot.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and visibility across all active opportunities.
  • Ensure timely follow-up and progression of all qualified opportunities.
  • Contribute to overall commercial growth and market expansion in British Columbia.
Qualifications
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding B2B sales targets.
  • Experience working in a structured, CRM-driven sales environment (Hub Spot preferred), with disciplined pipeline management and forecasting.
  • 3+ years of field or territory-based sales experience.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to assess customer needs and deliver tailored, solution-based proposals.
  • Comfortable managing longer sales cycles and multi-stakeholder decision processes.
  • Highly self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Experience in B2B or commercial sales environments (capital equipment, construction, hospitality, or similar industries) preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently within British Columbia.
Strong assets
  • Experience selling into commercial or institutional environments
  • Exposure to the fitness industry or strength equipment category
  • Existing commercial or institutional relationships within BC
