About The Opportunity

ECAM, a Garda World company and Canada's leading provider of intelligent video monitoring and AI‑driven security solutions, is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to drive new business growth across the Lower Mainland. This is a true hunter role designed for individuals who thrive on prospecting, building relationships, and closing new commercial accounts. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, generating qualified leads, and helping businesses improve security through innovative monitoring and surveillance solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and develop new commercial opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, digital outreach, and in‑person meetings.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified prospects across the Lower Mainland.
  • Identify opportunities within key industries including construction, commercial real estate, retail, hospitality, property management, and light industrial sectors.
  • Conduct discovery meetings to understand customer challenges and security requirements.
  • Present ECAM's intelligent security solutions, including live video monitoring, AI‑powered surveillance, and Mobile Surveillance Units (MSUs).
  • Develop proposals and move opportunities efficiently through the sales cycle.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, activity tracking, and pipeline forecasting.
  • Collaborate with operations and project teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Represent ECAM at industry events, networking functions, and business development activities.
Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of sales, business development, customer‑facing, or prospecting experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, relationship‑building, and presentation skills.
  • Self‑motivated, competitive, and results‑driven mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and prioritize effectively.
  • Experience with CRM systems is considered an asset.
  • Valid BC driver's license and reliable transportation required.
