Associate Banker – Overview

Our Associates are required to proactively keep bankers on track and help them balance business development and client coverage. The Associate Banker will thoroughly understand back‑office support and operations, build leadership and sales acumen and learn relationship and deal strategy. The Associate Banker will develop a deep working knowledge of our solutions including, but not limited to:
Credit, Treasury Services, International Banking, Syndicated Finance, Commercial Card and Chase Paymentech Solutions.

• Three+ years direct lending or credit support related experience with a focus on business relationships.
• Fluent bilingual proficiency in English and French is required.
• Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnership with senior business and control partners.

• Bachelor’s degree and formal credit training preferred.
• Sales management, business development skills, proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationships.
• Strong in finding creative solutions, problem solving abilities, flexible to changing business priorities and ability to multitask.
• Excellent business judgment, strategic thinking, self‑directed, proactive and creative.
