Join Scotia Securities Inc. and contribute to our success by executing sales strategies within an assigned territory. Your goal will be to support mutual fund representatives in delivering client-focused, long-term investment advice, drive Assets Under Management (AUM) growth through retail branches, and promote adherence to Global Sales Principles.

• Develop and execute a regional business plan to: increase assets under administration, drive market share growth, enhance knowledge among MFRs of Scotia Fund Solutions and related tools.
• Act as the primary field resource for registered representatives, boosting confidence in mutual fund positioning and sales strategies.
• Analyze data to implement territory segmentation strategies, identify business opportunities, and resolve barriers to growth.
• Collaborate with Branch Managers to implement strategies that drive mutual fund sales within their branches.
• Motivate and coach sales staff through presentations, workshops, and one-on-one consulting.
• Provide expert, timely assistance to sales officers via seminars and individual meetings.
• Ensure compliance with Scotiabank’s Values, Code of Conduct, and Global Sales Principles, while managing operational, compliance, and conduct risk.

• Undergraduate degree in Finance or related field.
• 5+ years of financial services experience, preferably in mutual funds.
• Strong knowledge of mutual fund sales and marketing.
• Proven ability to coach and influence MFRs and leadership teams.
• Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Highly motivated self-starter with minimal supervision.
• Canadian Securities Course (CSC), PFP, CFP or equivalent (asset).

• Hybrid work model: 20% remote, 80% branch locations (Supporting various district within BC & Area Region).
• Extensive domestic travel.
• Non-standard hours may occur.
