This role is crucial for managing the expansion of Metacaulk firestop systems within the construction market. As a Business Development Manager, you will establish and leverage relationships with distributors, contractors, and architectural firms to promote product specifications and secure new business opportunities. Success in this role requires a keen understanding of sales strategies, industry dynamics, and technical knowledge in firestop systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate on marketing strategies with the Head of Firestop
• Drive sales and exceed revenue targets
• Build a sustainable customer base for territory growth
• Recruit and manage independent sales representatives
• Monitor market trends to provide actionable insights
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years B2B sales experience in construction materials
• Strong skills in customer engagement and communication
• Willingness to travel 40–50% across Western Canada
• Reside in Calgary or Vancouver area
• Authorized to work in Canada
