Drive sales in the public safety sector as an Inside Sales Representative your SaaS knowledge to engage law enforcement agencies and build long-term relationships.
As a crucial part of the sales team, you will focus on selling SaaS technology solutions to law enforcement agencies. Your expertise in proactive prospecting, needs assessments, and product demonstrations will be key. Collaborating with product and customer success teams ensures that client experiences are seamless while growing Versaterm's presence in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain a sales pipeline through proactive outreach
• Apply Challenger Sale principles to manage client conversations
• Conduct needs assessments and deliver technology demonstrations
• Articulate Versaterm's value proposition clearly
• Negotiate deals while fostering strong customer relationships
Requirements:
• 2–3+ years in SaaS sales, preferably in public safety
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proven record of exceeding revenue targets
• Familiarity with MEDDPICC and Challenger Sale methodologies
• Ability to travel 20–40% within assigned territory
